The more God becomes real to us, the more real we become to others because His Spirit purifies our heart. The genuineness of one who has had their heart purified by God is manifested in humble wisdom, unselfish love and meek strength. All accomplishments are naturally attributed to God by the heart who relies upon Him for ALL things. As we surrender to Him, we begin to fall in line with the rest of Creation which continually glorifies Him and we have a heart of praise like the Psalmist–who wrote: “Ascribe to the Lord, O heavenly beings, ascribe to the Lord glory and strength. Ascribe to the Lord the glory due his name; worship the Lord in the splendor of holiness.” (Psa. ‭29:1-2‬) When we allow God to take us to the level of complete trust in Him—by surrendering to His will–our lives naturally glorify Him. As I sit and listen to the early morning chorus of nature as it awakens and begins to raise it’s voice in song, and I watch the sun bursting over the treetops and effortlessly breaking-up the darkness to create a new dawn—I am reminded of His constant miracles in my life. The biggest miracle I’ve personally witnessed is His continual love to me. I am so humbled that my Creator continued to have mercy upon me and love me back to Him even after I lived the majority of my Christian life as continual slap in His face as I pursued the darkness of my own will. Yet–He loved me and He has given me a million reasons to love others. His love is my magnificent and continual inspiration! God’s love captivates us, His nature inspires creativity within us, His Word grants us wisdom and His Spirit fills us with power. We find Him when we lose ourselves; and then–we find life. “Whoever finds his life will lose it, and whoever loses his life for my sake will find it.” (Matthew‬ ‭10:39‬)
