Our vote is precious and we are privileged to exercise this freedom, but the salvation of our Nation depends upon whether we decide to “Make GOD Great in America Again.” Irrespective of the election results—this needs to become our theme if we wish to save our Nation for future generations! Our Nation was founded upon the principle that we are “endowed by Our CREATOR with certain unalienable rights;” i.e., our rights are NOT from the government, but from GOD. So, when we toss God out of the heart of our nation, people become dependent upon the government to rule their unruly hearts and meet their needs. Government without God will fail because God is the standard for righteousness and–“Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a reproach to any people.” (Prov. 14:34) God must reside within our hearts to the extent that we gain confidence in Him; then–we will NOT remain silent in the face of evil. When we know Him, we KNOW His power. A nation which follows God has the attentiveness of God; one who turns away, loses Him–and fails. God told Solomon: “If my people who are called by my name humble themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land. Now my eyes will be open and my ears attentive to the prayer that is made in this place…But if you turn aside and forsake my statutes and my commandments that I have set before you, and go and serve other gods and worship them, then I will pluck you up from my land that I have given you, and this house that I have consecrated for my name, I will cast out of my sight, and I will make it a proverb and a byword among all peoples.” (2 Chron. 7) God is not playing around with wickedness…and if we value our future then neither should we dabble in it. The hope for our Nation lies within the hearts of those who will seek God: “The counsel of the Lord stands forever, the plans of his heart to all generations. Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord, the people whom he has chosen as his heritage!” (Psa. 33:11-12) Go, and vote your conscience; more importantly, live each day in the constant counsel of Almighty God. It is HE Who saves us!
