When we love God with all our heart and seek to live in His will, we are given His wisdom! When we’re close to Him, He lovingly prepares us, teaches us and gives us the wisdom of His direction. Can we fathom that God, Who created everything, is our personal teacher and guide? The Bible says: “What no eye has seen, what no ear has heard, and what no human mind has conceived” — the things God has prepared for those who love him— these are the things God has revealed to us by his Spirit. The Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God. For who knows a person’s thoughts except their own spirit within them? In the same way no one knows the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God. What we have received is not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, so that we may understand what God has freely given us. This is what we speak, not in words taught us by human wisdom but in words taught by the Spirit, explaining spiritual realities with Spirit-taught words.” (1 Corinthians‬ ‭2:9-13‬) Wow! God’s Word is the most valuable book we possess and His Spirit is our most trusted Advisor. How humbling to know that The Creator, who holds the answers to ALL of life’s questions, has offered us HIS key to understanding! When we are born again, we are given the key which opens the door to His wisdom. But–we must never forget that HIS wisdom comes from HIM–thus, it is in spending time with Him that we become wise. God is holy and to be close to Him, we must rid ourselves of that which is unholy. In its place we must plant the seeds of His Word so that His Spirit may cultivate His wisdom within us. As His presence becomes greater, so does His wisdom. He enables us to understand and do things which are far above our own capabilities. God wants to freely give us of His wisdom. His Word promises: “If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him.” (James‬ ‭1:5‬) God is waiting to guide us through each hour of today. When we seek Him with all our heart–He faithfully guides us!
