God created each of us as magnificent masterpiece–for a very important purpose. God is all around us, however, we can look everywhere and never see Him; or–we see Him everywhere we look. The difference in how we see God begins in our heart. When our heart desires Him, our soul knows He is real and can see His works. We know our purpose. The Bible says: “I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well.” (Psalms‬ ‭139:14‬) http://bible.com/59/psa.139.14.esv.

We don’t have to look very hard to discover that God has a magnificent purpose for us. For example, Dr. Francis Collins, who led the Human Genome Project, explained that even the most advanced computer program code can’t compare to the complex code which God put inside the nucleus of EACH of our cells. Scientists discovered that in the microscopic space of each tiny cell is a code THREE BILLION LETTERS LONG which would take half a lifetime to read. (Dr. Francis Collins, The Language of God: A Scientist Presents Evidence For Belief) Amazing! God wrote a unique code for every person on the planet!

Now consider this: Would any of us take the time and resources to create something so unique and complex as a human and then just throw it in the trash, neglect it or wish to destroy it? Uh–NO! God, didn’t either. As as our Designer, offers us a relationship which makes our existence meaningful. He gives us love, strength, wisdom, peace and purpose. God said, “I have loved you with an everlasting love; I have drawn you with unfailing kindness.” (‭Jeremiah 31‬:‭3‬) We are His masterpieces, created in His image and for His glory. When we discover our value to God, we realize that we are each His masterpiece and that He has given our life a magnificent purpose!
