The more we are in God’s presence, the more we see His miracles. One night my son and I were discussing a miracle God had done for us. We had prayed about a really tough situation and God resolved it in a way we could have never anticipated. We knew that there was no way it was chance or luck. We’d seen God work fantastic miracles and–we had no doubt it was all Him! Knowing God gives us the ability to know when we’ve seen His miracles and we don’t denigrate them into a category of good luck. Knowing God is the key to seeing miracles. We will only desire to know Him when we believe He is worth knowing. Why is He worth knowing?

God’s thoughts and ideas are far above ours. He does not think like we think. He is the one we should aspire to know and emulate. Knowing Him opens our understanding to His power, wisdom and love. Job experienced the miracles of God’s presence. He said: “How you have helped him who has no power! How you have saved the arm that has no strength! How you have counseled him who has no wisdom, and plentifully declared sound knowledge! With whose help have you uttered words, and whose breath has come out from you?” (Job‬ ‭26:2-4‬)‬ When we know God and we know we are nothing without Him–then–we can see Him at work. When we fall in love with Him, our own paltry wisdom isn’t blinding us from being able to see the miracles of His presence.

God is our loving Father. When we know Him, we know His miraculous gifts. When we know the love of the giver, we recognize His gifts. God is the source of ALL the goodness we experience. As we spend time seeking to know Him, He reveals Himself to us. The more we KNOW God, the more we SEE His miracles!
