In order to live in reality, we need to constantly reorder our soul so that God’s presence becomes our most powerful motivating force. In other words, it is only those who love God above all else–who live in reality. What? ‘Tis true! The Bible says: “Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.” (1 Corinthians‬ ‭2:9-10‬) http://bible.com/1/1co.2.9-10.kjv When I am the center of my reality, then I am divested of reality. It’s like I’m living in a cave surrounded by inky darkness instead of in the life and beauty of sunlight. Why is this true? Because God is light and truth. We are not.

When we allow God to reorder our soul so that He becomes the center, then the shadows of doubt and fear are dispelled by His light. We are filled with His unwavering love. We see the world like He does. Our needs are met like we’ve never known possible. God transforms us into the person that we could never see while we lived in the darkness. We will only allow God to become the center of our life when we love Him above all else.

When we love God, we passionately cast aside all behaviors, obsessions and habits which rob us of His presence. We learn to hate our sin because it deprives us of His presence. Then, God’s Spirit begins to reveal the wonders that we could never see when we were looking through the dark veil of our sin. Then when we look outside, we don’t just see the beauty of creation, we wonder at the Creator. Or, when we interact with people, we don’t just react to their behavior, rather, we show them wisdom and love to give them a glimpse of themselves as God sees them! Reordering our soul gives us so much more joy than we ever imagined! We have inner peace and Heavenly vision for our journey on earth!
