Do you know anyone who ALWAYS makes your life better? Someone who, EVERYTIME you’re with them, you ALWAYS leave better than you came? Do you know anyone who ALWAYS gives more than they take? Do you know anyone who loves you even when you have nothing to offer? Our weak and sinful flesh makes it very difficult for us to make life completely and totally about someone else. God’s not like us. He ALWAYS makes our life better. However, the “good life” doesn’t always look like WE think it should–that’s because we don’t always live in the reality that God created!

The more I experience the presence of God, the more I realize that HE is the reason for ALL of the best feelings, experiences, accomplishments and gifts in my life. He loves me more than I love me, and loves me more than anyone else is capable of loving me. Knowing Him inspires words of praise within me. He gives me steady joy which streams from the constant thankfulness of being in His capable hands. He gives me impulsive joy which springs from the sweet, unexpected and undeserved gifts He surprises me with everyday. God’s presence restores my wonder. He draws me in and keeps me coming back for more. The Psalmist wrote: “Every day I will bless you and praise your name forever and ever. Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised, and his greatness is unsearchable. You open your hand; you satisfy the desire of every living thing. The Lord is righteous in all his ways and kind in all his works. My mouth will speak the praise of the Lord, and let all flesh bless his holy name forever and ever.” (Psalms‬ ‭145:2-3, 16-17, 21‬) http://bible.com/59/psa.145.2-3,16-17,21.esv

When we surrender our WHOLE HEART and EVERY DESIRE to God, His goodness draws us deeper into His Presence. His blessings overwhelm us and our most passionate desire is to glorify Him with every breath He gives us. God is the only one who ALWAYS makes our life better. Seek Him and be forever blessed.
