When we learn to seek the mind of Christ, God gives us a sense of peace and purpose during any problem. Whether it’s a horribly broken heart or a simply broken cell phone, He has an answer. When my first response to my problem is to panic, drop everything and scramble for a solution, then I am definitely NOT experiencing peace. However, when I immediately talk to God about it, then it doesn’t even matter whether it gets fixed right away because I know He’s got me.

Furthermore, when I’m seeking His mind, He often leads me to share His love with someone who is searching for truth. The heart of the AT&T tech may be the real reason I’m there–not my broken phone. When we show up with that broken phone in our hand and the peace, love and wisdom of Jesus in our heart, we get to plant the seed of His Spirit in them.

God’s Word says, “For as the rain and the snow come down from heaven and do not return there but water the earth, making it bring forth and sprout, giving seed to the sower and bread to the eater, so shall my word be that goes out from my mouth; it shall not return to me empty, but it shall accomplish that which I purpose, and shall succeed in the thing for which I sent it. ‘For you shall go out in joy and be led forth in peace; the mountains and the hills before you shall break forth into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands.’” (Isaiah 55:10-12)

God wants us to live every moment listening to Him so that we constantly receive joy from Him and give it to others.

He wants our lives to be dominated by His peace while we accomplish the Divine Purpose which He has carefully planned for each day. God’s purpose is never thwarted by our problems. When we seek to know His mind, then each problem simply becomes our next adventure. He has marvelous plans for every one of us today!

When we work for God, our problems are His responsibility.
