Sometimes we drag ourselves out of bed like the day’s problems have already defeated us. I’m guilty of this. On these mornings, we need to remember God’s Word: “This is the day which the Lord hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.” (Psa.118:24) Well, maybe today you don’t feel much like rejoicing because you just have too many problems!

God is such a patient Father! On one such morning, He reminded me that each day is a precious, unrepeatable adventure which has been carefully planned by Him! Then my brain woke up, “Hmmm, well God, what You’re saying is I can choose to live today in misadventure like a wounded rabbit being chased by a fox; or, I can live the adventure like an explorer discovering a new continent? Right?”

How I live today—is my choice.

I can choose to listen to God’s wisdom and follow HIS skillful navigation and not miss one moment of a great adventure; or, I can listen to myself, run into walls and wallow in misery! Living His adventure is possible even when life is hard. Jesus did it. Paul did it. Martin Luther King Jr. did it. It’s our choice. God gives us the ability to tap into His wisdom to victoriously navigate the most treacherous paths. Look all around you. The Creator of all you see is your Father! The Bible says: “’Ah, Lord God! It is you who have made the heavens and the earth by your great power and by your outstretched arm! Nothing is too hard for you.” (Jeremiah‬ ‭32:17‬)

With God—today can be soooo amazing!
