Problems, problems, and drama! We all get tired of dealing with it! One night I went to bed exhausted from the drama, and the next morning, I woke up dreading the flood of more trouble which I expected would fill my day. I really just wanted to pass my job off to someone else! As I began to get bummed, this verse  came to mind, “Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” (Matthew 11:28)

Wow—that’s the reminder I really needed!

What does this verse really mean? You see, because sometimes we just want another person to comfort us and give us advice; however, we often forget something so important:

Everyone else has problems just like we do!

How can we expect anyone else to completely fulfill our need to be comforted when they all have their own problems? Meanwhile, Jesus offers us endless love and comfort, and He knows the solution to ALL our problems. He gives a peace that passes all understanding. The key is  to maintain close contact with Him throughout the day—just like we would an earthly friend that we trust!

Once we’re continually in touch with God’s love and wisdom, we can then give strength to others, WITHOUT fear that we will crash and burn. God’s always got more to give.

The crazy thing is that this is so easy. Jesus says that we just need to ask; it is that simple! So now, smile. It doesn’t matter if you run into a ridiculous amount of craziness today; just be confident and ask, and God, who is stronger and smarter than you—will lead you through it!
