When we give more generously than we imagine we are able to give, we see God’s miraculous multiplication of blessings! It’s kind of like the little boy who gave Jesus his five loaves and two fishes. (John 6:1-14) Do you think he would have ever imagined such a small amount of food could have been used to feed over five thousand people??? What if he had been more concerned about what HE was going to have for lunch instead of giving his lunch away? When he gave it ALL away, he didn’t end up hungry; in fact, he became part of the history of God’s miracles—and had leftovers to spare!

What a powerful lesson from God.

He always provides for His children. We should never underestimate how much He will bless us when we bless others. I imagine that God commands us to give because we aren’t smart enough to do it on our ownGod gives us this promise and—He REALLY means it: “Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. (Luke 6:38)

Giving of our time, multiplies the time we have to bless and be blessed. When I’ve set aside my plans for my time for His plans, I’ve seen God give me more time. He is efficient. He’s done this same miraculous and mysterious multiplication when I’ve given love, money or other resources. He never runs out!! I am more and more amazed every day about how God exponentially blesses when I step out in faith to give it all without regard for my own needs! The more I give to God, the more I have, and the less I need or want.
