Sometimes an author will write himself into a story, and much the same way God has written Himself into our story. How? God looked into the world He created and the way we were destroying ourselves, and wrote Himself into the story of humanity in the person of Jesus—so He could save us from destruction. The big question for us, is—will OUR story turn out well? In other words, will the most important character in our story be Jesus, so our story ends the way our Divine Author intended?

God has planned the best for us.

When we allow Him to write OUR story—our story is the best it can be. This amazing story begins when we accept God’s gift of salvation and then—allow Him to write our Divinely inspired journey. He has the plot and the adventure planned! He said: “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.” (Jeremiah‬ ‭29:11‬)

The most important decision we make each day, is to seek our Creator, Savior, Sustainer, and Lover of our soul.

When we make God’s presence in our life, our top priority, He writes our story. This means more than just sprinting through a quiet time, enduring a church service, or reading the Bible as you nod off to dreamland. God should permeate every facet of our existence. Our time with God needs to be special and meaningful—more sacrosanct than our workout, eating, extra sleep, family time, and EVEN work. He deserves more attention and respect than our boss, best friend, children, or any judge in a courtroom. For our story to be all it can be, God needs to be all over it.

Are you satisfied with your story?

Seek God, make Him your narrative and—HE will write a story more magnificent than you can imagine.
