To a large degree, my job involves solving people’s problems, so it’s often difficult for me to stay in the habit of allowing God to solve problems. But, one of the best benefits of living in God’s presence is that I don’t have to figure everything out on my own. I often just need to be reminded to ask. God’s Spirit of wisdom, revelation, and knowledge can enlighten us and enable us to not only look at problems differently, but to solve them HIS way.

Indeed, we can pray as Paul the Apostle did “that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give [us] the Spirit of wisdom and of revelation in the knowledge of him, having the eyes of [our] hearts enlightened, that [we] may know what is the hope to which he has called [us], what are the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints, and what is the immeasurable greatness of his power toward us who believe, according to the working of his great might that he worked in Christ when he raised him from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly places, far above all rule and authority and power and dominion, and above every name that is named, not only in this age but also in the one to come.” (‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭1:17-21)

When the wisdom of the Spirit is enlightening us, we solve problems from God’s perspective instead of our own.

God doesn’t need our help to figure things out. WE desperately need HIM. The Bible promises us: “If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him.” (James‬ 1:5‬) God has a solution for EVERY problem which will arise today. When we are obedient to His Word, we are drawn closer to His presence and He gives us the wisdom for every problem.
