The song Moses sang after God miraculously freed the enslaved people of Israel is so relevant in the world we’re living in today. The human race is all enslaved to sin until Christ frees us by His grace. Our experience with God should inspire our life to be our own personal song of God’s greatness!

The Song of Moses manifested his incredible experience living in God’s power.

He sang: “I will sing to the Lord, for he has triumphed gloriously; the horse and his rider he has thrown into the sea. The Lord is my strength and my song, and he has become my salvation; this is my God, and I will praise him…The Lord is a man of war; the Lord is his name…Your right hand, O Lord, glorious in power, your right hand, O Lord, shatters the enemy. In the greatness of your majesty you overthrow your adversaries; you send out your fury; it consumes them like stubble…Who is like you, O Lord, among the gods? Who is like you, majestic in holiness, awesome in glorious deeds, doing wonders? You have led in your steadfast love the people whom you have redeemed; you have guided them by your strength.” (From “The Song of Moses” in Exodus‬ 15)

Do you have a song of praise to God based on His presence and power in your life?

I didn’t—for a long time and now—well, I’m beginning to see what I’d missed all along. The stronger God’s presence is within me, the more I am freed from my slavery of sin and empowered by Him. As He empowers me, He leads me through the perilous Red Seas of life. When I’m close to Him—I don’t fear the modern day Egyptian Armies—I only fear losing His presence.

One person, who is empowered by God, is more mighty than the greatest army on the planet.

Seek God and He will make your life an extraordinary and beautiful song.‬‬‬‬
