Jesus came to give us—not just a plain, ordinary, or even desperately lived life; but rather—He wants to give us a life lived more abundantly than we can imagine! He said: “I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.” (John‬ ‭10:10‬) Different translations describe it as:

“Better life than they ever dreamed of;” (The Message) or

“Life till it overflows.” (Amplified)

Is this how you describe the life you’re living today?

I think we often measure the abundance of our life by the things we accumulate or our career accomplishments, or even in building a family. However, if this were God’s definition of the abundant life, then people like Paul the Apostle definitely never lived in great abundance!

We must remember that true abundance begins with God because He is the Father of every blessing.

Because He is the vine and we are the branches, it’s not possible for us to produce an abundance of HIS fruit without being attached to Him. (John 15:5) When we attach ourselves to God, we are in a position to have Him flow through us.

What does this look like?

Well, here are some of my personal experiences with living abundantly:

~Discovering the deepest love I’ve ever known as His love flows through me into others—it’s definitely a river—not a pond.

~Living in clarity and light as His wisdom and strength flows through me.

~Experiencing the freedom of existing outside the box instead of inside the pressure cooker.

~Watching my physical needs be met by God which frees me to utilize my spiritual gifts for His glory.

~Knowing the joy of living for a greater purpose than self.

~Transforming into the person God made instead of a poor imitation of someone else.

God’s abundance in all these areas are so very completely satisfying and…

Living abundantly in Christ is probably one of the most powerfully influencing tools I possess.

We can show others how special they are to God and that we each have an EQUAL OPPORTUNITY to be close to Him.

He is chasing you down. You are the apple of His eye.  God gave everything to know you and to give you a life of more joy than you ever thought possible.
