Miracles happen when we humble ourselves because that’s the ONLY WAY we engage GOD’S wisdom, power, and love. It’s amazing to watch. When we are in such awe of God that we begin our day with Him, His goodness woos us and we yield our heart to Him. We allow HIM to make our goals for the day.

When we humbly yield our time, resources, and talents to God—He works amazing miracles!

Let me give you some examples from my own life. I’ve had a huge case to prepare for trial, and God has directed me to spend the time I’ve set aside to work—to minister to someone He’s put in my path. EVERY TIME I’ve yielded to His direction and put ministry over work—He has either given me supernatural speed in preparing for trial; continued the case; or settled the case. EVERY TIME! Or, I may have a client meeting scheduled for only 30 minutes, but the Holy Spirit makes it clear I’m supposed to share Jesus with the person. Inevitably, the Spirit begins moving and we end up way past the allotted time. I get to witness the miracles of God moving in the person’s heart; and—EVERY TIME He works out my schedule! God works on the big stuff and the little stuff—all at once! And remember…

…the greatest miracle we ever get to be part of is watching the Holy Spirit change a person’s heart!

The side-gig miracles that God does (like work stuff) are just bonuses! When we’re humble enough to yield to Him, He takes our weaknesses and does Almighty works. He uses our marginal talents and intelligence—to manifest His power and glory.

When we know we can’t do ANYTHING on our own, we learn God does EVERYTHING a lot better than we do.

A humble heart allows the burden of our pride to be lifted and we see the wonder who He is and what He does! Humility allows us to be in awe of the magnitude of God’s greatness.

“I will ponder all your work, and meditate on your mighty deeds. Your way, O God, is holy. What god is great like our God? You are the God who works wonders; you have made known your might among the peoples.” (Psalms 77:12-14)

The more we humble ourselves and realize that we are nothing without Him, the more powerfully He works through us.

God’s strength, love, and wisdom are manifested in our life when our life no longer belongs to us.
