Have you ever wondered if your life really matters?

What, if anything, will you be remembered for when you’re gone? Most of us think in terms of being remembered for our accomplishments. We believe that to have a truly significant life, we have to be like Michael Jordan, Beyoncé, Elon Musk, or Obama; or, we must be super-humans and “have it all” by—raising successful children, building wealth and surrounding ourselves with beautiful and successful people. Our culture encourages us to spend the majority of our resources and time striving for our own recognition and satisfaction. However…

No earthly legacy will be long remembered, because the human race was created for the glory of a supernatural being—Almighty God!

Oh, how often we get stuck in the very small stories of this mortal life that, for most of us, rarely last beyond a few decades. But—God has invited us to be part of an eternally glorifying story—the one HE has written. He is a Hero of magnificent proportions —greater than any other hero on earth—and He stars in a love story more touching than anything you have ever heard. He has a rescue plan for you and invites you to create an eternal legacy WITH Him!

God’s Word encourages us to set our vision on the eternal.

“We look NOT to the things that are seen but to the things that are unseen. For the things that are seen are transient, but the things that are unseen are eternal.” (‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭4:18‬)

God’s Word encourages us to live in enthusiastic hope for the PERMANENT blessings God has planned for us in eternity!

“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! According to HIS great mercy, he has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, to an inheritance that is imperishable, undefiled, and unfading, kept in heaven for you.” (‭1 Peter‬ ‭1:3-4)

If the Creator believed us significant enough to give His life so that we might receive the richness of Heaven—we are, indeed, significant. When we grasp this truth, it changes our life. No longer are we EVER fulfilled by striving after worldly accomplishments because—we have tasted the greatness of the eternal.

When we find our greatest significance in Christ, we leave a significant and eternal legacy!
